RedHot Call For Entries

Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center is looking for vendors for our 5th RedHot Art Market. The RedHot Art Market is an important way that CAFAC builds its scholarship fund for those that need it and right now that is more important than ever.

When we started this market it was as a way for the CAFAC’s studio artists and their families to spend time with each other during the busy holiday season. Then we decided it would be even better with a wider range of artists & makers and a great way to grow together as a community. A way for artists & makers to help artists & makers learn and grow.

This year the RedHot Art Market is evolving again, with Covid-19 safety in mind:

Instead of happening in December, the market will be on Saturday, October 31, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. That’s right, it’s Halloween! An earlier date means we can keep our doors open and possibly have booths outside if weather allows.
We’ll have spots for 15 vendors (down from 30) so that we can ensure physical distancing.
We’ll limit the number of shoppers in the building at one time and manage the flow of traffic.
Masks are required. Hand sanitizer will be available. No cash payments.

All artists & makers in any medium are invited, with a priority for BIPOC vendors.

To Apply
Email Jhyle at gallery@cafac.org with the following information:
