Hello friends! It has been two years since we've hosted our Open (Hot)House. This time is extra special as we celebrate 11 years in our home at 38th & Chicago!

Open (Hot)House is an opportunity to stop in and see what happens at CAFAC, open to the entire community. Watch fire arts in action as our instructors do blacksmithing demos. Visit our brand new jewelry studio. Participate in some hands-on art-making. Be awed by fire performances and light a sparkler or two yourself!

We'll also have a new exhibit in our gallery called "In/Out" - a collection of wide-ranging works inspired by the personal journey to finding a sense of self in a world that accepts you only when you conform.

There's something for everyone at the Open (Hot)House and it's a great reason to check out this neighborhood resource. Come see what we've been up to at CAFAC. Cake and refreshments too!

Covid caution: masks will be required for everyone inside the building. We'll plan as many activities outside as possible, and will limit folks in the building as necessary.
