About the Artist:

I make art to engage in play, healing and exploration of the mysterious corners of our world. In the couple of decades I’ve been making things, I’ve found that learning and teaching creative expression is the birthright of us all and a powerful means to explore consciousness and reveal truths, even as the nature of these things remains elusive.

Born and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan in Green Bay, Wisconsin, my deepest teacher continues to be the network of numerous  lakes and rivers that shape this sacred land. I am fortunate to currently live in Powderhorn, Minneapolis where I get to keep experimenting and growing my artistic practice in a variety of media, including encaustic and metals. My creative process is really just to let go and listen because my work arises intuitively from dreams, visions and forms that emerge as I'm engaging with raw materials.
